BIZARRE STORIES OF THE DAY
CHEETAH'S ESCAPE FROM ZOO
'Their mother called them and they followed her cries," said a spokeswoman at the zoo located near Salzburg. ,
Zoo keepers were unaware the cheetahs were missing until police spotted them at around 6:30 am and dispatched a team of 30 officers to the site, having a plan for experts to tranquillise the animals in order to take them back to the zoo.
Even so, the operation turned out unnecessary because the two cheetahs came back to their housing 2 hours afterwards together with zoo keepers, following their mother's calls.
"It appears that the 2 were happy that their escapade ended," explained Beck.
The animals are thought to have escaped via a doorway that was forced open during the night, allegedly by some youths.
Speak about wigging out!
An alleged wig thief is charged of punching and biting a wig store owner who chased right after her when she bolted from his shop.
Law enforcement officials in New Haven, Conn. informed WFSB that Lowpel Davis attempted to steal a wig from Sassy Beauty Supply Shop. When the owner, Jongyol Lee, and his 70-year-old dad went right after her, Lee told police that Davis hit both of them in their faces and bit Lee's arm so hard she ripped off skin which she then spat within his facial area.
"The size of a complete block she just kept striking me and hitting the rear of my head," Lee told WTNH. "She kicked me several times at my backside."
Authorities stated they had trouble to overpower Davis who continued to flail around on the concrete, even though she was handcuffed, based on WFSB.
New York magazine's Daily Intel includes a straightforward reason behind Davis' supposed behaviour, particularly considering the strong zombie apocalypse that's here.
"That's what zombies do," Daily Intel asserted.
A MOTHER BEATS HER SON TO DEATH
A mom who beat her 3 year-old child to death for wetting the mattress has been questioned by law enforcement officials in Dongguan, Guangdong province, the southern area of China.
Xiao Lin, 27, hit her son Zhuang Peng's genitals so violently that one of his testicles burst open, say doctors.
Nearby neighbours informed police that despite the fact that Xiao had been a very good mom, she had an explosive temper.
RELATIONSHIP BAGGAGE
Police say a 50-year-old Oregon woman is in trouble due to the fact of her romance baggage – but it's not the emotionally charged kind.
Kola J. McGrath was arrested on Mon for trespassing right after employees at her boyfriend's down-town Portland residence complex observed the guy was sneaking her into the building by concealing her inside a big rolling travel suitcase. She was banned from the building a year ago for bursting a fire extinguisher case during disagreement.
The Oregonian reports ''McGrath is 5 ft, 6 inches tall and weighs 96 lbs.
Authorities were being alerted when a caller reported a man had kidnapped a lady, put her inside a pink travel suitcase and brought her to the apartment building.
Officers then searched 52-year-old Curtis T. Lowe's apartment and found McGrath hiding inside a wardrobe.
